Location

Effective October 1, 2009, the McGill University Archives has moved to the 6th floor of the McLennan Library Building—same building, change of floor.

Our entrance is through the library main lobby. Take the elevators to the 6th floor. The reception desk is located in Room M6-17B at the north end of the 6th floor.

Office Hours

Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 12:30 pm, 1:45 pm - 4:45 pm.

No retrievals after 4:00 pm or during Summer Fridays (June 22 - August 17, 2007). Records Transfers and Pick-ups during office hours only. Reading Room open Monday to Friday.

Reporting

The McGill University Archives reports to the Secretary-General of the University (University Secretariat). The University Secretariat is responsible for the University's contracts and organizational maintenance of the governing bodies, such as Senate and the Board of Governors.
